Product Description
Pale organic quality of carnauba wax derived from young leaves of the Copernicia Prunifera palm, native to northeastern Brazil. Has a noticeably higher oil binding capacity than other carnauba wax qualities. Very hard, high melting, brittle wax with high crystallinity and outstanding oil binding capacity. It thickens/hardens anhydrous systems and W/O emulsions, provides lubricity, generates glossy surfaces, and functions as a dispersing aid for effect pigments. MP: 82-86°C
